This isn’t true in all cases, but for the most part, desktops are more upgradable. Laptops tend to be a bit harder to upgrade and you might even void your warranty doing so. Most desktops are designed to be easily upgraded. The two biggest advantages of a desktop is that it’s cheaper and more upgradable. It’s a tiny bit harder to bring a desktop computer with you at all times… You can easily fold a laptop up, throw it in your bag, and make music wherever you go.
